More cupcakes. See...they are so versatile... You can frost them to make them look like a big sheet cake then when you go to serve..no messy cutting. These were made for my niece for her second birthday. The gumpaste animals are all made by me. I love them!

Cupcakes!!
With the popularity of cupcakes lately I have come to realize why I love cupcakes - They are all ready to be served individually. You don't have to mess with cutting a messy cake or dessert! You can make them in an endless combination of flavors. My personal favorite so far....either the lemon with a lemon curd filling and lemony buttercream to top OR chocolate, chocolate, chocolate....mmmm.

This cake was made for a 50th birthday party. The theme was Animal House, meaning they all had to be in theme and wear togas...sounds like fun!
Baby shower cake...to match the invite...
My mother in law's birthday cake. This is probably one of my favorite cakes I have ever done! I got the idea from a movie too....

For my brother in law
Fashionable cake
Cow cake
Pizza cake
I want to start putting all my cakes in one location. I always forget to email people pictures of the finished product. I will be busy updating a lot of cakes I have done until now. Over the summer, I will add the new cakes as I do them.
This cake was made by request for a friend of my family's. All the decorations are edible. The red sauce is a mix of raspberry jam and frosting with extra red food coloring. The 'pepperoni' is strawberry fruit leather. The 'cheese' is fondant. The best part is the 'grease' which is just watered down apricot jam. :) This cake was a lot of fun to think up and create!
